Due to the aftermath of Hurricane Dorian, the Haliburton House is unable to open today. There are power outages province-wide and a lot of trees down and other damage. For these reasons the A is for Art Festival scheduled for today has been cancelled. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope to see you next year.
Welcome to the first annual A Is For Art Festival! Hosted at the incredible Halliburton House, local artists will be creating on the grounds while the museum is converted into a gallery for the day selling their work. Part of the proceeds of the art sale will be going to Ivy’s Memorial Rescue as well as the NS SPCA. From painters and sculptors to jewellery makers and wood workers enjoy a day of charity and art as you watch them create 🙂 Along with the art show at Halliburton House there will also be a BBQ and raffle and so much more – So come and stroll the beautiful grounds of Halliburton, enjoy fun afternoon. You can get maps of the artist locations at the Museum and the admission is free!
